The darling mispronunciations of childhood!--dear me, there's no music that can touch it; and how one grieves when it wastes away and dissolves into correctness, knowing it will never visit his bereaved ear again.

Austin, 4 - 3 Questions

On the evening of May 15 after family prayer:

Austin: Mom can I ask you 2 questions?
Me: Yeah
Austin: Maybe free
Me: Ok
Austin: Ok, the free questions I want to ask you are: first do you like my haircut?
Me: Yes, I really like it--you look like a tough little guy!
Austin: And next I want to ask you: I want my allergies to go away so can I have my medicine?
Me: Yeah, I'll get it for you.
Austin: And next I want to ask you: Can I stay up for 10 minutes?
Me: Yeah, you can :)
(I don't work on Mon so he doesn't have to get up early.)

That's just the way this little guy talks :)
