The darling mispronunciations of childhood!--dear me, there's no music that can touch it; and how one grieves when it wastes away and dissolves into correctness, knowing it will never visit his bereaved ear again.

Leka 6 PB&J

Leka usually likes a packed lunch but sometimes she likes the school lunch options. I told her it was Peanut Butter & Jelly or Macaroni & Cheese. She decided to have the Peanut Butter & Jelly.
When I picked her up I asked her how her sandwich was--she told me:

"I didn't have it, I had the macaroni & cheese--they changed it [the menu]; it was macaroni & cheese or PB&J."
I laughed & told her PB&J means Peanut Butter & Jelly--she said:
"What?!...Well nobody told me That!"
(Nase was cracking up about it)
